3 Education
This is where you'll include the names of your Schools, Colleges, Universities, or other educational institutes and the qualifications and training you received. In reverse order, detail your academic qualifications with dates. Include mention of any time studying abroad.
The key here is to specify all the qualifications you have because it is likely to impress. You don't need to give the grades for your O' levels or GCSEs if you went on to do 'A' levels. Don't give details of failed examinations. Include full details of University degrees and/or any other qualifications at Higher Education.
You may also wish to add a separate section listing your training. Many employers will view the training that you have received as every bit or even more important than your formal education. So put down here every relevant training course you have attended and any certificates awarded.
This whole section can in fact be placed earlier in the CV, before listing your experience. However, the more experience you have, the less need to emphasise your qualifications, and the more likely you are to relegate your education to almost the last item on your C.V. For example, if you have been Managing Director of a multi-national company, then your 3 'A' level passes won't seem that important.
